The inspiring story of an individual who defies the odds and finds redemption through his purpose. Raised in a devout non-denominational Christian household, at 12 he strayed from his upbringing and found himself involved in a life of crime which resulted him as a three time felon at just 22 years old. The path he walked was far from his roots which led him down a road of poor choices, pain, and ruin. Amidst the struggle and setbacks Yaqub gained a distinctive approach, and balanced perspective to life that led to the creation of a unique vision. Resurrected from the ashes of a life marked by recidivism Yaqub rose above the stereotypes and personal challenges to embrace a life he once knew.
With the understanding of life's fragility, trials & tribulations, and an urgency to make a positive impact Yaqub embarked on a mission to redefine fashion, and revolutionize Faith. This is more than a clothing brand it’s a testament to the LOVE of GOD, symbol of renewal, and a catalyst for change.
